Joan

Joan, our resident veg-gardener and carpenter, has worked the soil and the woodshop at La Bruguera since before its current owners were born. He is as much part of the estate as the forest itself, and is the forest’s prime carer. From growing the wonderful produce in the bountiful veggie patch, keeping the forest free of fire-risk, to whipping up wooden solutions to construction problems, or helping us find buried pipes only he knows the location of, he’s indispensable, and intrinsically connected to the site.
