Freya (Rocket)

Freya is an ex-lawyer turned professional cyclist living in Girona. She has a passion for environmentalism which led her to learning about permaculture, and then to La Bruguera. Freya has completed her Permaculture Design Course at Can Lliure and has volunteered at La Bruguera since May 2021. Earlier this year she joined our team as a Communications and Environmental Products Manager. Freya has aimed to tie her passions of cycling and environmentalism together, and this year is racing for the Canadian UCI Continental Team, InstaFund, who are the first professional cycling team to go single use plastic free and are aiming to be carbon neutral this year!
