Catalan Wine-Tasting
Enjoy a guided wine tasting of the best Catalonia has to offer, from its 12 Denominacions d’Origen, including the DO Empordà, our home region. Maria del Mar, La Bruguera’s favourite enologist, who has run one of Girona’s best bodegas for almost two decades, makes wine even more interesting than its drinking, with her unparalleled knowledge of the 2500+ year history of winemaking in the region, her in-person knowledge of our local winemakers, and can access wines from the costly classic to the new experimental, that others simply cannot source. Her tastings can be as technical (or not) as you like, and make a fantastic addition to any celebration, event, or even a nice way to round off a week of cycling or yoga. Marias sessions can be in English, Catalan or Spanish.
